A warehouse analysis is a great help, both for you who are planning to establish a new warehouse, and for you who want to improve an existing one.

Often the warehouse develops through time, if a detailed warehouse strategy is not present this development can lead to some costly and time-consuming processes and the wrong amount or type of inventory.

A good tool to identify the health of the warehouse is a warehouse analysis, the analysis consists of the following points:

  • Are the right products in stock? (A,B,C analysis)
  • Are they the right quantities?
  • Are the goods in the right places?
  • What are my current inventory costs?
  • What will a WMS system mean for warehouse operations?
  • Movement time in the warehouse
  • The economics of stock tying
